Disneyland of course!

If you had one day to spend $100,000 - and you had to spend it totally selfishly - what would you buy?
I would get my ass out of debt!!! Then, I'd of course get a new car and put a down payment on a house. Can I do all that in a day? If I start early I can!
What does the 4th of July mean to you? How are you celebrating?
The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I am extremely patriotic, probably thanks to my time in the military. Today, I'm also celebrating my sisters' birthday. We're having a party and a good old fashioned barbeque. The kids are probably going to go watch the fireworks later. I'm not a big fan of those thanks to Disneyland ruining it for me, so I'll probably stay here at home.
Here's a video I made awhile back. It's a remake of my first music video. I'll post the original once I get it off my other computer, but for now, enjoy this and remember the heroes who protect our freedom every day. If it weren't for them, we would have never had this holiday.
Honestly, I was never a big Michael Jackson fan. I listened to him on the radio in the 80's and part of the 90's but never owned an album. I have a handful of songs that I think are okay and honestly, those are the only songs I know of his. On another note though, I do rather enjoy the parodies Weird Al did of his stuff. I know those songs better than the originals!

Like I said before, I'm making a comeback. Part of that comeback includes a daily blog entry.
Anyway, I semi-started my diet today. I'm kind of keeping my efforts quiet as I get mixed responses whenever I try dieing. One friend berates me, then suddenly decides it's a good idea and becomes obsessed with weight loss. Another says I'm too skinny. I like that! But I am over by about 50 pounds and want to maintain a healthier lifestyle. She agrees with that part and gets on me for eating too much junk. A great asset in my quest! I have friends who doubt my ability to stick to a diet and workout plan. So I'm not even going to mention it to them.
So, this morning, I joined weight watchers. It's the easiest way to track how well I'm doing. It keeps me in check. The only reason I quit before was because of money. Well, now I have the money, so it's all good!
What else? Yesterday, I went to Walmart and found "The Real Ghostbusters Volume 1". Um. Duh. Of course I bought it! So last night the kiddo and I watched disc one. I'll probably work on disc 2 tonight. :)
Anyway, off for now.

Okay, I promise to post more this afternoon. But yes, I'm making a permanent comeback to Vox. I have a lot to say and even more to catch up on!

Depends on how the relationship ended really. I have mementos from relationships past that I keep in a box. Each item has a story and it's nice to remember good times. When it comes to the bigger gifts, I tend to keep them while they're useful. There's no need to throw out a perfectly fine gift just because a relationship didn't last. Now, if the gift sucked...that would be a different story. Recycle bin!
